Future-Proof Solutions participated in a significant infrastructure upgrade in Jindalee, Brisbane, after a major sewer main under a busy motorway burst in February 2020. The existing pipes were replaced with 2 x 560mm HDPE sewer main pipelines of 290m and 675m in length, one also requiring an 800mm enveloper pipe. Horizontal directional drilling was elected in order to not disturb the heavy traffic on the Centenary Motorway.
Future-Proof Solutions provided full for construction design suites, which encompassed a complete construction evaluation including HDD profiles and alignments, installation and integrity calculation, hydrofracture analysis, detailed site layouts, drilling fluid plans, grouting plan, anchor block, and pullhead calculations. Our trenchless projects team also provided onsite support including environmental and drilling fluid sampling, drilling fluid testing with onsite laboratory, records production and management, HSEQ support, ITP facilitation, client and stakeholder liaison, and management of laboratory analysis.
