Future-Proof Solutions was engaged to complete for-construction design of this unusual HDD project in WA. The project involved the drilling of an HDD pilot hole in an exploratory capacity, in order to gather data and better assess ground conditions for a future proposed microtunnelling project. HDD was utilised due to the high concentration of surface-level services and obstacles in the area, and the method’s ability to conduct the works without disturbance of the busy roads and railways above.
