HDD played a vital role in a recent stage of Brisbane’s major Cross River Rail project, with the HDD underbore at the QR Clapham Yard. Trenchless installation was required in order to install the new under-track electrical lines on a strict timeline and without disturbance to the critical rail infrastructure above.
Future-Proof Solutions was pleased to assist with a suite of design documents, including profile and alignment, installation calculation, settlement and vibration analyses, and hydrofracture drawing. HDD contractor SEQ Trenchless successfully executed the HDD project works during a short available window of planned track shutdown in late December 2021.
